The Brooklyn Nets’ latest injury report is … bad.

The good vibes that the Brooklyn Nets bestowed upon fans after their impressive win over the Washington Wizards on Sunday were unfortunately short lived. The all-important zoom call with reporters leading up to Tuesday’s clash against the Milwaukee Bucks sadly wasn’t about Brooklyn’s game plan to keep things relatively competitive.

Instead, it confirmed a surprisingly lengthy injury report for the Nets.

All three of Caris LeVert (thigh contusion), Joe Harris (hamstring and back tightness) and Jarrett Allen (rest) will be sidelined on Tuesday, meaning that Brooklyn will be without their top EIGHT scorers versus the Bucks, who have all but clinched the No. 1 seed in the East.

For those curious, Jamal Crawford was labeled as questionable as he continues to get himself back into game shape following a four-month layoff. The 40-year-old guard has yet to appear in an exhibition or seeded game for the Nets after signing as a substitute player over three weeks ago, but he should be ready to go in this one.

The biggest takeaway from this injury report is the status of Allen. It’s unclear if the 22-year-old rim protector is suffering from fatigue, or if interim head coach Jacque Vaughn is simply resting everyone since Brooklyn, barring an epic collapse, will enter the playoffs as either the No. 7 or No. 8 seed in the East.

LeVert, Allen and Harris combined to score over 70% (83 of 118) of the Nets’ points against Washington, so expect them to struggle against an elite Milwaukee defense, which ranks fifth in the NBA in terms of points allowed per game this season.

What’s even more terrifying? The Bucks’ starting five, which is at full strength for the first time since play resumed, will see Eric Bledsoe make his bubble debut.

Yikes!

If we learned anything from this lineup, it’s that Milwaukee is planning to put this game out of reach by halftime. Here’s to hoping that Brooklyn’s bench players make this contest more competitive than most are anticipating.
