Kevin Durant had a good laugh about Rockets’ Danuel House getting kicked out of the NBA bubble.

Brooklyn Nets star Kevin Durant is ready to return for the 2020-2021 season, following his long layoff after suffering a ruptured Achilles. Despite the rough injury, Durant has been making good use of his time, appearing on a lot of podcasts, and even popping up on the beach playing a good old game of catch.

We already saw him on JJ Redick’s podcast, where he seemingly took a shot at Rudy Gobert for his “overrated” defense, and Barstool’s “The Corp” podcast to open up on a variety of topics.

He recently made his rounds on the Joe Budden Podcast and talked about Houston Rockets forward Danuel House getting booted from the NBA bubble for allegedly allowing a female COVID-19 tester into his hotel room. That’s a big no-no, Mr. House! KD had a good laugh about it.

“Yo, you’ve been in the bubble away from action for three months … you can’t blame ’em dawg … after a couple months and you’re down 3-1? Nah. He said, ‘I don’t give a f—, no more man!” Durant said.

What’s even funnier is House and Durant were former teammates on the Golden State Warriors! KD’s having some fun with his old buddy.

The NBA kicked House out of Orlando after he violated these safety protocols in the midst of the Rockets’ series against the Los Angeles Lakers. His teammates were not happy about it, but if we’re being honest, the chances of Houston crafting such a comeback against the best remaining team in the bubble were … very low.

The Rockets’ season ended in disappointment yet again, and personal issues made their way to the forefront alongside the poor play. Given the strict circumstances in the Bubble, KD certainly isn’t blaming House for attempting to sneak in a little off-the-court action while his team continued to falter.

The candor from this man is something to admire.
