The two top teams in the Eastern Conference will meet for the second time this season at Barclays Center on Saturday night. The top-ranked 16-6 Brooklyn Nets will host the 15-8 Chicago Bulls.

In their first matchup on Nov. 8, Chicago cruised to a 118-95 win. Kevin Durant had one of his most efficient offensive outings, scoring 38 points and shooting 54.2% from the floor. DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 28 points and Zach LaVine had 24.

Brooklyn edged the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday in a 110-105 win. Durant finished with 30 points off 9-of-18 shooting, the ninth-time this year that he’s scored 30+ points. Patty Mills added 23 and James Harden finished with 20.

As for Chicago, they held off the New York Knicks on Wednesday, 119-115, after the Knicks came back from an 18-point deficit at the half. DeRozan scored 34 and LaVine and Nikola Vucevic both added 27 points. To no surprise, DeRozan is the Bulls’ leading scorer this season with an average of 26.3 points per game.

Brooklyn’s won four of its last five games, while Chicago’s secured three wins over the course of the team’s last five games.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Chicago Bulls betting odds, spread, over/under

According to WynnBET, the Nets are the three-point favorites against the Bulls. Brooklyn is -150 on the moneyline and Chicago is +130. The over/under for the game is set at 220.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Bulls prediction

The Bulls have the advantage over the Nets since Chicago got to rest on Friday in preparation for Saturday’s contest. Brooklyn struggled offensively against Minnesota, but were once again led to victory behind Durant’s heroics in the fourth quarter.

Since the Nets are facing a playoff-caliber team, relying on Durant won’t be enough. The Bulls are averaging 109.5 points per game and their fast pace could pose and issue for a multitude of reasons. Brooklyn is on a back-to-back, the offense hasn’t exactly been winning shootouts, and the focus on defense will be that much more important. This one seems like it’ll be tough for the Nets to come out on top, even though they’re top five in the league in defensive rating. That just means they’ll need to be firing on all cylinders with hardly any rest against one of the NBA’s best teams.

We’re taking Chicago +3 and over 220 points.

Chicago 118, Brooklyn 109.
