Two days after Kevin Durant’s 51-point performance, the Brooklyn Nets are back at the Barclays Center to take on the Toronto Raptors. Brooklyn sits atop the Eastern Conference with a 19-8 record and Toronto is in 10h at 13-14.
On Tuesday night, though, Brooklyn will be without eight players. Joe Harris is out rehabbing his left ankle, but James Harden, Bruce Brown, LaMarcus Aldridge, DeAndre’ Bembry, Jevon Carter, James Johnson, and Paul Millsap are all out due to the health and safety protocol. KD is listed as questionable with right ankle soreness. Oh boy.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors betting odds, spread, over/under
According to WynnBET, Brooklyn is a four-point favorite over Toronto despite all these losses. The Nets are -170 on the moneyline and the Raptors are +150. The over/under for the game is set at 215.5.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors prediction
The Nets have listed Durant as available, but how long will they keep him in for? Can Patty Mills, Blake Griffin, Nic Claxton and an assortment of rookies hold down the fort? The Raptors are also down to 10 players, though. With two battered lineups, we’re choosing to believe the Nets will have enough to take down one of the more disappointing teams in the NBA, even if Durant is limited in some capacity.
We’re taking the Nets -5 and under 215.5 points.
Brooklyn 98, Toronto 89.
