Nets Game Tonight: Nets vs. Bucks prediction, betting odds, TV channel for Jan. 7
After suffering a 127-104 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on opening night, the Brooklyn Nets will have another shot to take down the reigning NBA champions on Friday. The Nets are 24-12 and in second place in the Eastern Conference, while the Bucks are right behind them at 25-15 and in third.
Brooklyn’s fresh off a 129-121 win over Indiana on Wednesday. Kyrie Irving scored 22 points in his season debut, but won’t be able to play in Brooklyn’s next two home games against Milwaukee or San Antonio.
For the Nets to take down the Bucks, they’re going to need both Kevin Durant and James Harden to carry the load on offense. Durant led Brooklyn with 32 points and 11 rebounds in the first matchup against Milwaukee earlier this year.
The Bucks are on a two-game losing skid, dropping games against the Pistons and Raptors. Giannis Antetokounmpo didn’t play on Wednesday due to a non-COVID illness, but he’s listed as probable for Friday. He’s averaging 27.9 points and 11.5 rebounds per game.
Former Nets star Brook Lopez played against Brooklyn on Oct. 19, but that’s the only game that he’s played in this season for Milwaukee. He’s currently out indefinitely after undergoing back surgery on Dec. 2.

Brooklyn Nets vs. Milwaukee Bucks prediction
The Bucks will be without Jrue Holiday, Pat Connaughton, Grayson Allen, and George Hill due to the health and safety protocols. Even with Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee won’t be as big of a threat on offense.
The Nets got a much-needed win on Tuesday after being in a three-game slump, and if their defense can prevent Antetokounmpo from taking the game over, Brooklyn will be able to get by easily.
We’re taking the Nets and over 231 points.
Brooklyn 121, Milwaukee 113.
