Nets vs. Suns prediction, betting odds, TV channel for Feb. 1
The Brooklyn Nets will face another tough road rest on Tuesday night against the Phoenix Suns. The 29-20 Nets are in sixth place in the East and the 40-9 Suns are in first place in the West.
Brooklyn started off its road trip with a 110-106 loss to Golden State on Saturday. Kyrie Irving led the Nets with 32 points (9-of-21), seven rebounds, and seven assists. Patty Mills had 24 points (8-of-21 from the field, 6-of-12 from the 3-point line).
Phoenix narrowly escaped San Antonio, 115-110, on Sunday. Devin Booker scored a game-high 28 points (12-of-21). Mikal Bridges had 26 points (11-of-16) and eight rebounds. Chris Paul had a double-double of 20 points (9-of-16) and 19 assists.
The two teams met in New York on Nov. 27 and the Suns won, 113-107. Durant scored 39 points for the Nets and Booker had 30.
On Tuesday, Brooklyn will be without Kevin Durant (sprained MCL), LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle), Joe Harris (ankle), and Paul Millsap (out). James Harden (hand) practiced with the team on Monday but is listed as questionable.
If Harden does play, it’ll be a form of homecoming for him as he spent two seasons at Arizona State University (2007-2009).
Brooklyn Nets vs. Phoenix Suns betting odds, spread, over/under
According to WynnBET, Phoenix is the six-point favorite over Brooklyn. The Nets are +200 on the moneyline and the Suns are -250. The over/under for the game is set at 228 points.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Phoenix Suns prediction
Brooklyn’s on a four-game losing streak and Phoenix has won 10 straight games. That says it all. If the Nets are without both Aldridge and Harden, Irving is going to have to put on another show, although his efforts with or without Harden likely won’t be enough against the top team in the NBA
We’re taking the Suns -6 and over 228 points.
Phoenix 119, Brooklyn 110.
