The road trip continues for the Brooklyn Nets and the next stop is the Golden 1 Center to take on the Sacramento Kings. The 29-21 Nets are in sixth place in the East and the 18-34 Kings are in 13th in the West.
Wednesday’s game is the second half of a back-to-back for Brooklyn. The Nets have lost five games in a row and didn’t have an answer for the red hot Suns on Tuesday.
Brooklyn lost to Phoenix, 121-111. Kyrie Irving led the Nets with 26 points (10-of-20) and James Harden had 22 points (6-of-19) and 10 assists. Blake Griffin scored 17 (6-of-10) off the bench.
Sacramento was in Manhattan on Monday and lost to New York, 116-96. Tyrese Haliburton scored 21 points (7-of-16) and added eight assists. Davion Mitchell had 18 points (8-of-17).
The Kings will be without Marvin Bagley II (ankle) and Terence Davis (wrist). De’Aaron Fox (ankle) is listed as questionable.
The Nets will be without Kevin Durant (MCL), LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle), Joe Harris (ankle), David Duke Jr. (two-way), and Paul Millsap (out).

The Kings are on a seven-game losing streak and are an ideal team for the Nets to go up against right now. Brooklyn needs a win, although Sacramento can’t be counted out.
The Nets will understandably be a bit gassed from Tuesday’s game but should be able to dominate the Kings on the offensive side of the floor.
