The Brooklyn Nets are back in action and will host the Toronto Raptors on Monday night. The 32-29 Nets are in eighth place in the East and the 32-27 Raptors are in seventh.
Brooklyn beat Milwaukee on Saturday night, 126-123. Kyrie Irving scored a game and season-high 38 points (14-of-26) after not playing for two weeks. Seth Curry had 19 points (6-of-11 from the field, 4-of-8 from the 3-point line).
Toronto was blown out by Atlanta on Saturday, 127-100. Fred VanVleet led the Raptors with 24 points (8-of-22) and added nine assists. Precious Achiuwa scored 19 points off the bench (8-of-12).
The Nets beat Toronto on Nov. 7, 116-103, and on Dec. 14 in a 131-129 overtime win. Brooklyn will travel to Canada on Tuesday to take on the Raptors in the second half of a back-to-back.
On Monday night, Toronto will be without OG Anunoby (finger). VanVleet (knee) is listed as questionable.
Kevin Durant (MCL), Joe Harris (ankle), Ben Simmons (conditioning), and Irving (ineligible) will be out for the Nets.
Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors betting odds, spread, over/under

Brooklyn Nets vs. Toronto Raptors prediction
The Nets are riding the momentum from their huge defeat of the Bucks. However, Brooklyn will be without Irving on Monday and Tuesday night against the Raptors. If Irving were playing, Toronto’s odds wouldn’t be good based on its recent two performances.
If VanVleet doesn’t play, the Raptors will struggle to put points up on the board. If he does, it should be a close game that I believe will ultimately sway in the Nets’ direction.
We’re taking the Nets +4.5 and under 219 points.
Brooklyn 106, Toronto 100.
