The final key position for Atkinson is having a defensive wing player. Rondae Hollis-Jefferson is the perfect player for this. Hollis-Jefferson missed some of last season with an ankle injury. Despite that, when he was healthy, he showed flashes of being an elite defender.

Hollis-Jefferson would resemble DeMarre Carroll when he played for Atlanta. The only difference is Carroll was a much better shooter than Hollis-Jefferson. That allowed the Hawks to spread the floor better.
